Starting from April 2010, Camille is teaching his IDC's using the newly revised and updated 2010 PADI IDC curriculum.

Camille and Similan Diving Safaris programs provide the quality and expertise you should expect and demand during your Instructor Training. My Instructor Development Course programs will provide valuable hands-on training with the emphasis on fun and in-water application. The cutting edge knowledge gained will expand your Career Opportunities.

THE PADI INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT

Curriculum consists of two parts the PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Combining the four day Assistant Instructor Course and the five day OWSI program into a continuous program with a days rest in between makes up our 10 day IDC program.

Successfully completing the AI course earns you the Assistant Instructor rating and allows you to work as Instructional assistant and independently conduct certain PADI programs. AI course completion also qualifies you to participate in the OWSI program.

During the AI and OWSI program it is important to understand that the staff will concentrate on your skill and knowledge development, not testing. The resort setting that we work in provides a low-stress environment that allows you to relax, which makes the learning easier. During the program our team of highly experienced staff will be on hand to offer you all the support you need.

Successfully completing the OWSI program (or an entire IDC) makes you eligible to participate in the PADI Instructor Examination (IE)

The IE is an evaluative program that tests your teaching ability, dive knowledge, skill level and understanding of the PADI system, attitude and professionalism. Instructor Candidates become Open Water Scuba Instructors only after successfully completing an IE.

Enriched Air Nitrox is currently the most popular PADI specialty amongst recreational divers, so you don't want to miss out on the opportunity of teaching this course to your future students.

Camille includes the Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor Specialty for free in all of his IDC courses and packages (however not including required PADI materials for becoming a PADI Nitrox diver / Instructor and PADI application fees). This means that if you participate in the MSDT prep course, you will have 6 instead of 5 Instructor Specialty ratings by participating in Camille's IDC programs and packages.

The Enriched Air Nitrox diver course is offered at a reduced rate in case you don't have this rating yet, it's a prerequisite for the Enriched Air Nitrox rating. There are no dives included in the free EANx Instructor rating which are part of my IDC course

Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor Course

16.000,-THB

Includes 10 Nitrox dives

As a standalone program the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Instructor rating includes the required 10 dives necessary before you can apply for your Instructor rating.

Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox lets you safely extend your no stop time beyond the no decompression limits for air. Diving with Enriched Air means more time underwater.

You will learn techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air Nitrox, about Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations and Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what's in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer

All teaching materials, standards and schedules will be reviewed, the actual PADI Nitrox Diver Course is included in the EANx Instructor Course. To be certified as Nitrox Specialty Instructor you will need a total of 10 Nitrox Dives which are included in the course fee
